  • Condition: Excellent condition – a beautiful elegant white damask cocktail or special occasion dress – this is one two dresses I bought new from the Caroline Charles boutique on a trip to London in the 1980s – it was originally an evening coat which was changed into a dress by adding one line of stitching in the front. Nothing else has been altered. It can easily be converted back into an evening coat. The damask fabric has a moire white on white design. There are two angled pockets on the front of the dress and a half belt in the back – Dazzling rhinestone buttons are on the half belt in the back, there are two on each sleeve, and one on the front. The dress was only worn once in 2000 for New Year’s Eve.Designer – Caroline Charles has been designing upscale clothing for over fifty years. She counts among her celebrity clientele Princess Diana, Ringo Starr, Barbra Streisand and Mick Jagger. She is a designer for pop stars and for royalty and is known for the quality of her designs.
